Boy Scouts (Troop 116): Build confidence, build character, build rockets, build an ADVENTURE!
A traditional style Catholic Boy Scout Troop, chartered by St. Thomas the Apostle, with an emphasis on discipline and respect for others and God. This is a Scout Run Troop, meaning that the boys learn to be independent in overcoming obstacles to reach a goal. They learn to work together to make something happen. This troop does a lot of camping, so if you love to be outside and get dirty, this is the troop for you. Service is a priority for this troop, whether it be cleaning and lighting the trails for the Easter Sunrise Service on Mt. Rubidoux, or busing tables and cleaning at the Knight's Lenten Fish Fry, or building a small Altar for the Children's Worship room, they are always ready to answer a call. The boys learn valuable skills, build character and make life long friends along the way.
